last week at the beach (Cape May) I took these... I knew they were something of interest but I dint know what I was shooting till I got home and talked to dad

Apparently there was an air show in Wildwood and we were seeing some residuals

There is a Tavern on the Delaware bay side of Cape May just North of the Ferry . This is a favorite summertime dinner spot

Great shots, I wonder if those are the same planes that are coming to the Worcester airport later this month.

Thats a serious tree

It's branches are the size of most tree trunks.

On route 47 in Sunderland Mass. Western part of the state mostly farm land lots of amazing secondary roads to cruise. Really wish my car was done!

Then there's that small plane, what is that one? Dad wasn't sure.

Thanks John.... dad had nailed the 17 and the 24 and cursed me for the fortunes of seeing them. There is that one photo of the smaller plane, he threw out the Wildcat name but wasn't sure.

My first thought was B25 Mitchell for the other bomber but than I noticed the four engines. Good call Big John! The pic of the small plane is too small to make out.

I think the small plane is a P-51 Mustang.

A small plane flew o er with a blue belly I couldn't grab the camera fast enough and missed it. Those damn banner planes fly all the time along the beach here so I think the sheep Le just don't look.
I heard the deeper rumble and open my eyes and looked for it. You knew in an instant something with power was coming up the coastline.

With the bases here, coast guard and military along with small airports you almost always get a treat.
Last year while in the bay crabbing there was a bi plane doing loos and drops overhead, awesome stuff
