Just drove home from the store in a dust storm!
 
hotel in stopped in several hotels on the way to n from mich , the iowa city was a surprise . first was reno , what i dive ! bonnie ws a must . next stop was in wyom , another dive ! them a couple more before the way back .

We drove from Santa Monica to Carmel and stayed on 101 going up there, came back leisurely on 1 back down to LA.

beautiful country side ... and i had a commandeered a company car from our LA Zone Office for the trip.

not actual car but one like it ... '02 35th anniversary camaro vert. doggish by todays standards, but gobbled up the road 20+ years ago.

I took these two photos at the Studebaker main house and carriage house entry on the grounds of the Studebaker Museum in Southbend In. a few weeks ago.

20 miles northwest, about 6 pm. by 9 pm, it was raining cats & dobs where I took this pic. Wasn't this cell I wouldn't think. Something else rolled in from the south.
