Hi guys,
I've been eyeballing a savaged trunk pan in North Carolina and the seller will not ship..

I think it's a bit too bulky to be worth the cost for shipping by way of UPS or other normal shipping...

I need to get it to the Buffalo or Niagara Falls area.

Is there a chance this could be relayed to me by way of the trusty members here?

I know this is a slim chance this can work so I am just throwing it out there..

For years I have thought this would be a great way to move big parts or even cars, if I was in the chain I would probably donate 200 miles. Not much I can do on the wrong side of the country.

This is a great concept... but I think too many of us already have a space issue and neighborhoods that dont want to see more cars or trailers. Plus most of us only have limited time to donate... mostly on weekends... it would take some real coordination to move anything. I often dont get to do the stuff I am trying or want to do...

on my skidoo forum we have a courier section and move stuff across western canada useing forum members...

Fastenal will ship on their trucks store to store. I got a set of nos wheels and a manifold shipped in that way. Wasn't that expensive. You just live with their schedule. Took a week from tallhairville.
That is freckin awesome... I had no idea they offered that. And Fastenal is one of my favorite stores.

it would be pushing it for Greyhound. it is about 5' x6' and real close to that 100lb limit...

Thanks Bob, I haven't heard back from the seller if they are willing to help out as well.

I'll keep everyone posted here.
Thanks!

Yet AMD can get you ¾'s of an E-body in your driveway tomorrow.
This is the only part about C-bodies I hate with a passion. Shipping your big stuff...

I used Fastenal to get the stub frame from California to Jersey. It needed to be palleted and delivered to a store with a fork lift, then it's up to you to pick it up from the receiving store, they don't deliver. Took about 3 weeks, and the mini-van was up to the task.

Did you find a weak spot in the roof, like so many owner do with the tailgates?
