Friend of mine pulled a similar stunt recently to show off a younger guy. Walked away uptight crunching his teeth to drive away right to the hospital with a hurt back. ;)
Bring a weight lifter belt at least.

Nooooo......

You're in good shape...I don't want to see you possibly hurt yourself. That bumper is probably close to 200 lbs and is awkward to pickup and balance.

The point was it is heavy as hell. Really need 2 people to pick it up and it is still difficult to mount it without a 3rd person to start the mounting nuts.

Good you fit thru the back seat. I had to do that once in my 65 Newport when we were camping and my wife shut the trunk with part of the tent over the lock and it jammed. I don't recall trouble fitting thru the X-brace (skinnier then), but I had to pull camping stuff out first to make room, then unscrewed the 2 lock bolts with a 3/8" socket (always carry tools).
