Trying to value my ride

Thanks for the kudos. I have driven a lot of vehicles, but they were just transportation. When I drive my Newport I feel like I am transported to another time, when life seemed to be less complicated. I can smell the old carpet, It is clean , and just the smell of the insulation that was used. I know, dribble. It is just more of an experience than just transportation.:eek:s_dancing2:

Hey Jeff,

You have to understand that this is an internet forum. As such, everyone is allowed & some are compelled to express their brutally honest opinions. Like it or not, that's the reality. If you were hoping to get a bunch of nurturing comments, you came to the wrong place, sorry. What's it worth questions always seem to bomb here for some reason.

But, none of the "haters" are gonna buy your car anyway so it's your choice as to how you handle their opinions... My unsolicited friendly advice would be to let it bounce off & keep moving forward.

Well,I asked because I dont want to be under water on it if life changes and I have to move on from it. If its worth more to someone else etc. I dont have a garage and it would be a shame to not take better care of it or have to get a garage. Understand?Being new I wouldve thought my grapes woulda been spared. My car is coming out of restoration this week and when i post pics i now know which people to respond to and who to send to the early bird dinner!
