CE23L1C193842 and CE23L1C257839 are for sale on FB in Arizona. The latter is a parts car.

Perhaps @azblackhemi knows them?

From the ad:

"I have TWO 1971 Chrysler Newports for sale. Neither run. The green one was my daily driver from 2012-2018. I bought the brown one for parts in 2012. Both have 383 engines. I parked the green one when she spun a berring in 2018. The engine is from a 1968 Plymouth and has a Holley 650 on it. The transmission was replaced in 2015 and has fewer than 10k miles on it. The radiator is gone. The front and back seat are green and in great condition. That's actually why the sheets are on it, to protect it. She's a solid car and I drove it everywhere. The brown one is original. I pulled it out of a field in New Mexico in the condition you see. Beat up. No carb, no radiator but the mechanical stuff is there. In the trunk of the brown one you'll see a hideaway headlight & taillight assembly for a Chrysler 300. I also have the front and back bumpers to go with that. And I also have a complete uncracked dash from a 1969 Newport that comes with this. I was going to fix up the green one but I have too many projects so this one has to go!"

CE23L1C257839 (what the seller calls a "brown" parts car looks like GY5 Crystal Dawn metallic to me):

No I'm not familiar with them. Right now I'm on a road trip for a month so I can't go see them. Does the ad have a price and location?

Never mind the number plates, how about not storing all that crap on the cars, or at least take it off before taking pics ffs.
It looks like an attempt to keep the bonnet and boot down.

A spectacular job of showing all the stuff in the interior and the trunk of those cars!!
A stunning master work of making everything easily visible and clean.

Especially this: "In the trunk of the brown one you'll see a hideaway headlight & taillight"

Crap I will use those X-ray specs I bought when I was 12 to check those out as I am having
difficulty picking out what is there. Now where did I put them? Oh yeah next to the eight
300 Hurst cars I stashed in my barn 20 years ago on a salt covered floor (to keep the rats at bay)!

The honesty isn't that bad. Gives us an idea of what these cars have done for 20 years. work tables and storage.

Good thing he covered that license plate, I was gonna get my cop buddies to give me the address and go move the lincoln into the road, then pull the non op newports onto a dual trailer. To steal them!! hahaha.

Seriously though, the parts car looks to be a better example of the car, not better shape. Unfortunate really.
I think the price is a little high. But what do I know.
Triple pickles are just not that appealing. Green for that matter unless they are super shiny and deep.

Doesn't get much better than under a roof in Arizona.

Looks like the Chrysler limo in the link is parked in the background of the pics. The scratch on the right rear quarter of the green Newport is the same as on the car in the background of the limo ad pictures.
For Sale - not mine--1970 Chrysler New Yorker 6-door limo - $5000
Very good eye! That was CE27L0C261185 which, indeed, is seen next to a 1971 green Newport 2dr in these two 2018 threads:

The second thread, started by @sauterd, clearly shows CE23L1C193842 in better days.

Ordinarily, I laothe cars being sold like this, with no prep and forest-only pictures.
But maybe he's truly busy as he suggests, and has to present them in their current state.

But -- at $7500 for both, they DO need better presentation.

Yeah, I hate that. Better cover the license plates while you DRIVE you're car. We might be able to find where you live.

I totally agree. Some people are very very weird. Why wouldn’t one take any unnecessary junk off the car prior to the photo????
Weird..
