appoligies...have been meaning to bitc& about this alittle to the powers that be...mailboxs around here have turned into a pain in the a... JUST SAYIN !!!!!!

Ok ok ill stop spamming your inbox with go fer a ride requests.....shheeeesh

Id like it for my car. The partially famous 1971 Polara 440 six pack 4 speed. I have a decent copy tach in my dash that fits ok & works well. If it was $500. maybe.

Well, here we go with all of the super wow "experts" on for cbodies only, no one else on planet earth could possibly know anything about C bodies except if you hang out on this website every day. Never mind that i have devoted about oh, 36 years of my life to studying , owning and driving full size Mopar's. Of course the tachometer in question was most likely only made in 1969, read my ad on eBay, i know better then to post it for sale on here, where i'd be lucky to get 10 bucks for it without someone whining about it. Although i'm sure someone on here was actually there back in 69 in Chrysler's product planning department and knows the full big fat story. My point was that the tachometer will fit any 69 to 73 instrument panel, not that they were made in 1973. But, then again running your mouth these days when you do not actually know the facts or complete story is the new "normal" behavior.

I'm not one of the cheap bastards on the site. I did bid to 800 for the last NOS piece that I saw on e bay...... obviously I didn't win the auction.
I also bid to 500 on the last used one I saw in nice , operable condition. I didn't win that one either....
Sadly, I'm out on this one before it started.....

What we need is a decent repop. In another thread, Carmine had a good idea on putting a repro together, once in the dash no one would be able to tell. The point for me is moot now, I didn't know that the tach would not fit in the Chrysler clock spot.

I'll just get a small AutoMeter tach for the steering column. If my car was all done and needed that extra stock something then this factory Tach would be the the icing on the cake. But my car needs too many other things at this point.
