Quick question guys, not sure what size vacuum hose for dist advance, and there are to ports on front of my carb. Left and right, kind of hard to see left one. 2 different sizes. Which one is recommended for dist advance?

According to the instructions, port right of the PCV hose is for "non-emission controlled vehicles". Port left of the PCV is for "emission controlled vehicles". Left and right is from looking at the picture as you provided. Hose is probably 3/16". I don't think size is imperative. As long as it will not loosen.
Is the carb "new installation"?
On the Edelbrock website, you can find and download "Installation Instructions" which detail which port is which. One is full manifold vacuum, the front passenger side is ported manifold vacuum, which is for the distributor vac advance. Just as the prior OEM AVS carbs were. 3/16" sounds about right.

Yes it is brand new. It came with a carter that was not on the motor or rebuildable. This is what I went with.
