For Sale Vacuum Trunk Release Switch

This is the switch that mounts in the glove box. Came out of a 66 Chrysler. May be correct for others. Looks good but untested. $45 shipped to the lower 48. Pm me here.

Just a note....these can get really crappy and won't work. Simply take it apart, clean everything with Dawn and maybe a soft brush, reassemble with the thinest coating of silicone grease on the seals (o-rings) and you're in business. This is exactly what I did with my vac switch....didn't work at all, now is perfect.

Well, I can't promise that anything will work for anything. But IF it's a vacuum switch--and not an electrical switch--then what's to lose for trying a zero-cost, soap&water fix?

And if it is an electrical switch, I'd take that apart, clean out the petrified OEM white grease, polish the contacts nice and bright with a #2 pencil eraser or 1500 paper, add a thin film of silicone grease to the surfaces, and put it back together. I've done this with many switches over the years, including several on my 300 (and including the driver's window gang switch).
