Over 400 vehicles. Many are older Mopar’s. I just saw the story on the news so I looked it up. In person and online bidding.

This is 5-1/2 hours from Fargo in the North West part of the state.

Thank you for posting. Not sure about the frames, given all the cars are axle-deep in the ground. DL41K1D108039 (Lot 181E) is one of the cars for sale -- @polara71 @71Polara383

DL41K1D108039 looks to be an early-build (Aug 25 SBD) GJ4 sedan -- fender tag for @cuda hunter and @69CoronetRT

Amazing. Some of those vehicles look to have a lot of potential if saved.
What a surprise to see so many of them being close to 100 years old and how long they must've had them.

The story was he was a geologist for the oil companies, so would find a lot of them sitting around farmsteads and would buy them. Some he fixed up. They also showed a wing car on the news, but that wasn’t for sale.
He passed away about 5 years ago and his wife and son who are keeping a few, decided it was time to clean up around the place.

howdy If this wasn't a 12 hr drive one way I might have bid on several cars one is the 79 Cordoba I'm really digging those rims.

Anyone know where to find the info of what things sold for?
Did any of our members buy anything or attend?

There were several manual cars, the gold 65 looked like a good deal, the red fury had no title, Some cars brought more than I expected while many were passed over, and may end up with iron men. I watched online as the car I picked up was in the opposite direction of the auction. Quite a few were headed east on trailers sunday.

71 polara was passed upon.

Surprising amount of passed cars that will be recycled. Unfortunate.

The sandy brown 65 coronet sold at 15,500,, 426 wedge 4 speed
The black ragtop 65 @just over 12k it had a 392 hemi 727
The opening bid was $300 a whole bunch sold at 300
Aprox 60 didn't get a bid
I bid online and got this 67 gtx sight unseen. $1200 My best guess is it was bought in this condition after a project stalled. I have access to the required parts. The drivers floor area needs some metal replaced, the rest is very nice. All tires held air.
When I picked it up the clerk told me that all unsold cars would be crushed.
I saw online a 1950 Chrysler coupe that didn't get a bid. It sure looked decent in the picture. It took a lot of self control to not bid

Looks closer to Regina than Fargo. This is a location in the lower 48 that's about as far as one could be from a major metro area.

Awh, that sucks. another C to the crusher over 25 bucks. It is what it is. I am surprised that 300 was the minimum bid.
Here in Colorado cars are 70 a ton. That's on the front range so most places have to tow it down to the big cities. So, 210 dollars for a 6000 pound car.
Scrappers can't be paying 300 per car that far out in the middle of nowhere.

Exactly my thoughts. No idea what the deal was. I couldn't believe they passed but I was again shooting for 2 cars and 2 trucks. Got passed on the 59 Plymouth for to low of bid and the 71 same deal then got blown out of the water on two 67 Dodge trucks. No real rhyme or reason why people bid like they did. It was bizarre

I noticed several of the sweptlines were very high priced and several were very low.
Didn't understand that rhyme or reason either.
