Vent widow interchangeability

Hi,

I am looking for replacement vent windows for my 1968 Chrysler 2 Door fast top. By parts book – it looks like the part should be 2860696 - 7

The part number on the castings 2860705 LH (Drivers) 2860704 RH (Pass), I can’t seem to find this number in parts catalog.
I realize a casting number – is not an assembly part number

When looking for a used part – is there a logical way to insure correct part?
Is the vent window assembly interchangeable between, 2drs 4drs, and convertibles?

The vent windows are fastop only as they are shorter than those used on sedans, hardtops and convertibles.

Post a parts wanted post on here and or contact Murray Park in Tiffin Ohio.

Not sure if you are only looking to replace the glass. I can tell you that it is not an easy job to replace the vent window and the lower frame with pivot.

Thanks - pot metal is really pitted.

I have come across them - but the seller, is often not positive of what they came out of.....

I have another set - slightly less rough - but they have two different casting numbers

2664440 RH (Pass)
