Barbara Roufs, died in 1991 at age 47, assumed (allegedly) a suicide.

I think there must be some mixup here. The girl in the photos was known as Pam Hardy or "Jungle Pam" when she was racing with Lieberman. She was from Pennsylvania I believe, not California. He died in a racing accident in 1977. As far as I know, she is still living. She did an interview in 2018 about their time racing together, so obviously did not die by suicide in 1991. Don't know who Barbara Roufs is???

Interview with Pam Hardy below.

Maybe I'm the confused and mixed up one here. Are there TWO different girls, looking almost like identical twins?? Arrgggggg........... :BangHead:

I'm wrong, some of the photos that I thought were Jungle Pam seem to be this Barbara Roufs. Did a search on both of the ladies and the internet shows some photos that are identified as both Jungle Pam and as Ms. Roufs.

So misinformation spread on the internet has me confused. I think maybe we were better off living life before the internet came along??:realcrazy::mad:

hey chief.

i have heard of "Jungle Pam" and thought she was a different woman than Roufs. and saw something since 1991 that said she was indeed alive after that.

i had never heard of Ms. Roufs, didnt know her personally, but i saw three internet references with couple days ago about her "tragic 1991 death". i also saw two OTHER ladies (go go boots, long hair, "hot pants", no bra, 'well-equipped, identified as Roufs too --- seems there were many "trophy girls" with that general look.

i concluded the most reliable sources had the same story/person ... thats when i finally posted her as Roufs. i only know what the internet says ... and thats always right, right?:poke:
