We've probably already posted a couple of these pics, but this would be a good time to repost some Annette Funicello with her '57 T-bird. Reportedly her first car at 16.

From what I read, the T-Bird was originally white. I have seen pics of this car in yellow, with white door jambs, but I'm sure it was "colorized" somewhere along the line.

This car still exists and was painted red during restoration. This article is incorrect as Barris didn't paint it... But Barris wasn't bashful about taking credit for other people's work.

Someone bought Annette Funicello's 1957 Ford Thunderbird and didn't even know it

With her Dad, washing the car.

She had custom painter Larry Watson paint it.

starlets world wide seemed to like 50's-early 60's T-birds.

circa 1965, with her 1965 T-bird. Lucianna Paluzzi, Italian Actor (she was a "Bond Girl" in the 60's - Thunderball). Stilll alive at age 86 today

I remember Annette's purple one being here ... but I have stopped searching the whole thread before I post something. its too big.

At the time of the picture there was a parking lot between the truck with the trailer and the beach.
