One more from Carrs Beach, Maryland. Interesting, sometimes controversial history of this place.

Here in 1958.

Tuesday Weld and Mamie Van Doren., 1960. Movie Sex Kittens go to college. No kiddin', real name of movie. never heard of it before today
What? You've never heard of that movie?? The Oscars overlooked this one.

But seriously... I know about the movie only because of the car featured. Norm "Woo Woo" Grabowski, called the inventor of the T- bucket, built the car. He was also in the movie, shown here with Mamie Van Doren. Norm Grabowski - Wikipedia

That was not the last role that car played. Fast forward to 1965 and a TV series called "My Mother the Car" premiered. My Mother the Car - Wikipedia
The car was "restyled" to look like a 1928 Porter (not a real car) by none other than Craig Breedlove's father, Norm.
It didn't last long, but this car crazy 11 year old watched it. It starred Jerry Van Dyke, Dick's brother. When I married the current (and last) Mrs. Big John, her step dad was a spitting image of Jerry Van Dyke, but I digress.

The car still exists. JULY 2022: ’28 PORTER—WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO MY MOTHER THE CAR? | MyStarCollectorCar
And yes, I built the model car.
