The car was "restyled" to look like a 1928 Porter (not a real car) by none other than Craig Breedlove's father, Norm.
It didn't last long, but this car crazy 11 year old watched it. It starred Jerry Van Dyke, Dick's brother. When I married the current (and last) Mrs. Big John, her step dad was a spitting image of Jerry Van Dyke, but I digress.
