I don't blame you. That would be a long haul. I hope to be at Carlisle next year. That's 700 miles from where I'm sitting.

BUT Carlisle is 4 days and the biggest Mopar event ever. You can hardly compare it to the Nationals in a fair discussion let alone a small one day show.

Nope, but it's still a fun time. I look forward to it as much as the big show near me. Very relaxed. Carlisle will be a fun adventure to go on.

If I had little to no obligations I would do the Volo drive, it is a nice show. Carlisle, the Nationals, Moparfest are all events worthy of a vacation days taken from work at least once.
To be able to do them all in one year would be awesome!

Maybe organize a couple nice country cruises the day before and after around the main event, VOLO. The museum, a speedway somewhere, tour to some places of interest in the area?

Thank you..I too can now book my time off from work.
Also leaving a day sooner and a day later to go back home.
Loved the marathon drive Nick and I did last year but looking back it was nuts!
This time I want to take the time to enjoy our new found surroundings of Illinois,LOL!

Awesome. 15 hour drive ONE WAY so drive all day thursday,relax Friday and check out the races at night. Car shows on the next two days and drive home Monday.
At least this time we can stay all day at Fox Run unlike cutting out at noon last year.
They must have not updated their website when I looked, thanks for clarifying.
