A few corrections, if I may: S stands for 300 on 1971. T stands for the 440-4 non-HP engine. The S3L2 trim info is correct; pics can be found on the Hamtramck Registry here.

Thanks for the info. It's nice to know others are interested in what options cars had on them. Looks like J25 is 3spd variable wipers. I tried to use multiple sources for some of the codes since the decoders aren't perfect.
 
I found another yard that the owner won't show me the cars he has.
He drove me around in a windowless subaru and just pointed at a few cars here and there.
Very unfortunate. Often times Gem's are locked away because the junk yards dealer won't let anyone see it to make them an offer.
It's a crying shame to see these former beauties sit and rot in pastures. It breaks my heart...
