i don't think that'll work either, partisanship has to go, it's counterproductive at best.
just fill the offices in DC with a bunch of like minded people that truly have the good of this great nation as a whole in mind. No successful corporation could be run like the current government tries to run this country.
other then that I have no opinions about it.
 
I don't think there is a "silver bullet" cure for this mess. Too many people think differently about stuff.

Sorry for the delay, we've been busy moving. What I mean by that is if you're not actively involved you get what other people decide for you. And most of the US population isn't even inactively involved, just look at the voter turn-outs each year.

From my view, Democrats and Republicans are different sides of the same coin.

My friends and I have discussed this in detail quite a bit.

We (my Veteran friends) all agree that the desk toppers need to be recognized for their contribution to the war effort and a medal is appropriate. Right now the drone medal is par with a Silver Star!!! That is ******* outrageous!!!! I don't think the drone medal should rank higher than my Bronze Star. We all just think that the order of precedence has to be ranked below all battlefield medals for bravery and valor and the Purple Heart. One position ahead of the National Defense Medal would be appropriate. Chuck Hagel (new Sec of Defense) is a Vietnam Vet with trigger time and knows what this means to all the Soldiers that were on the battlefield and will appropriately square away this situation.......I hope!

Why there was no military response remains an open question. With that directive, subsequent statements by the secretary of Defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff explaining why military forces could not be deployed in time to assist our ambassador and his staff with their cries for help were simply not credible.
It is understood that a “stand down order” was given. General David Petreaus has stated no such order came from the CIA. As Americans, we don’t leave our people under duress on the battlefield. The American people need to know if such an order was given and by whom.
