Would it be possible to fit power steering considering everything else you've done to make a better wagon?

The car drives fine without power steering.
If it were an automatic trans car swapping columns no problem.
Try finding a power steering column that is 3 speed standard for a 73.
Sure I did some upgrades but did not change the character of the car.
Still a 318 3 on da tree, no radio,no power steering wagon.

Thank you for that! If it were me... I'd have a hard time not occasionally sending the newbie at the tire shop out to move the car.

Yeah the 3 on da tree is a theft deterrent all by itself!!

Lawn sweeper with big bag and thatcher and wooden patio set.. Lol!

still sitting level with the load and a full tank of gas...

Well I have to admit that I was having waaay too much fun driving Waygun...to the point I hurt the engine.
I overrevved the engine and #4 intake lifter blew apart and wiped the cam!.
Still ran fine just clacking like a slant 6!
I parked her right after it happened and now it is time to pull her apart...AGAIN!
Luckily no engine pulling this time, just have to replace the cam and lifters.
So today I started tearing her apart and next Monday swap the cam and get her back on the road!.
The Grille was such a pain with the bumper fillers but I got it out!!

After sitting for 3 years, not being driven its time to let someone enjoy the quirkiness of this oddball.

Hope so before I change my mind.
All my cars are in the driveway and Waygun is in my next door neighbours driveway..
I hate seeing it sit outside..

What 3 spd is that? OD all synchro?

As far as I know, the floor shift conversion is long gone.
1973 was the first year for all gears to be snyncro'd.
No overdrive just plain jane 3 on da tree.
column bushing are still great on mine btw.

It took 3 months for the right buyer to buy her.
Did get close enough moneywise what I needed towards the garage.
I had a lot of fun with Waygun over the 14 years.
I did have a little cry alone.
Now on to the next chapter...
