So I started putting up crown molding Monday night and finished it Thursday night. It just needs touch up paint on the seams and nail holes.

I started trimming out the doorways and windows also. We took all the old trim down, it was easier to paint the walls and the old trim was boring.

Here is the kitchen doorway, it just needs it's seams and holes touched up, I have the old crown molding to paint and put back up.
A friend once told me a saying his wood shop teacher used to say and I find a lot of truth in it. Cut and carve, do your best, paint and caulk to hide the rest. Latex painters caulk hides the nail holes and seams great. Best of all you can paint over it.
