Welcome, 72Polara360

Hello thanks for the welcome

First time owning anything older than 1988, my last car was an 88 Thunderbird with the 302.

Very excited to have picked up this 1972 Polara off a local collector/restorer, it's a very clean survivor. First carbureted car for me, I have mild mechanical knowledge and tinkering skills but a desire to build vs. buy and access to a hobby club garage thru work.

I am a not-so-young-anymore guy who back in my 20s at the birth of the internet relied heavily on forums, this is back when I was into Volkswagens. I think forums are still the best place for knowledge exchange, so I'm glad to have found this one.

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.

Here's a photo of my new mistress.

BUT wait a hold it. That's a 73 nose.

You're right, it's a 73
The 72 was another car the gentleman had.
I guess it's too late to change my name lol
Correction all, it's a 1973
Thanks for noticing! Already learned something!
