Welcome, 8721Coker

I am wondering how rare is my rally red 2 door 1972 imperial ?
I only know of 1 other and it's a 4 door. I should have it ready to show some time in the summer of 2023.

Does anyone know any other rally red 2 door imperial still in existence? Just curious if I have the last survivor ?

Welcome, I knew of this fully loaded 73 coupe. Mint interior with buckets and sunroof.
Super rusty coastal California car.
Was crushed at closing yard.

Wow, factory-installed sunroof.. must have been an original dealer showroom car. From all of the research that I've done it looks like I've got the one and only rallye red 2 door coupe in existence. It's completely original including the paint. I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine. The camshaft locked up after the oil pan was half filled with sludge. Crankshaft was still In good condition. I'm hoping to get a little more power out of the 440 by bumping the compression up to around 9:1 by using the closed chamber head (I've had them sitting on the shelf for years) and a short duration high lift camshaft. It should make this tank get moving a little bit quicker.
