Welcome, cdmcclellan71

I appreciate it!
I came across this '67 Monaco 500 in Montana. I've committed to purchasing it.. it's been sitting since '94 after the original owner passed away. The gentleman I'm getting it from collects derby cars and knew this one was too nice to use (thankfully), she's very dirty, upholstery is trashed, headliner is torn at all the seams and sagging.. mice have been in the car obviously. Very little rust.. and it was painted black at some point. Pulled the dipstick and the oil looks surprisingly good and the transmission fluid is bright red. It current owner hasn't started it as he's not interested in working on it so that makes the price right.. I think if it's a verified runner the number would go up. Anyway, I'm rolling the dice and going for it at $2500, am I crazy? It's the hi-po 383..
I see past the years of sitting and think she'll clean up with some work. I am a bit concerned with re-upolstry of the seats as the style seem pretty fancy. This would be a "driver" for me, not a restoration.. somwthing to clean up and cruise around. From these photos, am I ahead or behind in this purchase (assuming it runs and shifts I have lot's more pictures..
(I just realized that I don't think I'm posting this in the right spot
