I think we’ll want to see more of that. Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

:thumbsup::welcome::canada:

I have a 69 Fury III and my wife has the cross rams!!!
Nice car and welcome.

Can we get a better shot of the hood louvers? Very nice car! Did you do the resto?

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

And thank you Detmat! This is a beautiful, unrestored California car. The interior is still 99% original with only the passenger side seat bottom having been repaired 10-15 years ago with NOS material. The engine was rebuilt and the exterior body repainted some time in the late 80’s-early 90’s, under hood, door jams and everywhere else is still original paint. I don’t have close up pictures of the louvers on the hood as I’m on the west coast this week but I’ll get some for you when I get home

Here’s some more pictures, I sold my Belvedere in the fall so I could buy this one.

So the louvers were original? Admittedly I don’t know much about these.

Welcome, that's an amazing car and the ultimate sleeper. Anyone but a well trained eye that saw the 500 emblem and knew what it meant, wouldn't know what happened when you smoked them at a traffic light.

Thanks! It is the ultimate sleeper, even the 500 emblem isn’t a dead giveaway as the D500 option could have been a single 4 barrel. There where only 80 D500 ram induction cars built in the Polara line in 61, and only 11 four door sedans. With 330 horse and 460 ft/lbs of torque this thing would have given my well built 440 in my 67 Belvedere a run for the $$$$
