Just picked up 1968 New Yorker project car. It (supposedly) has a little over 33k miles on it.
I'm old school, some mechanical knowledge, but I'm no mechanic.
I'm located in central Texas.

Hi all.
Well, the fuel tank was rotted out and removed - got a new one arriving today. It has 4 vents instead of 2, but that's a minor thing to cap off.
Already have a new sender unit and fuel pump (it's been sitting dry for a while so I figured what the heck, pump was under $20 new)
Filler pipe seems to be a mission to find, though
Engine runs very nicely, but until I get the gas sorted out I don't know about the rest of it.
It's mostly pretty straight, body wise. Interior is also fairly good - going to need some carpets one day...

Welcome @Pax2001 — if you find a filler neck, please post where! Photos of the car would be great.

The oil is not front the New Yorker, but from my old truck :)

the truck (390K + and still the daily driver) and my other ride... (I might need a bigger garage...)

I'm starting to think that I might have to make or modify a filler pipe - they seem to be as scarce as hen's teeth.
