Good morning all, just a short introduction so you know something about me. Rob, age 50, living in the Netherlands, Europe. I lived in Pennsylvania for a short while in my 20's (Dallastown, PA). As I lived there with little money but a dream to own a big V8 once, I chose to buy a good not so popular one. It's a 4dr sedan 1971 Newport. Good state, solid body and bought it back then for around $2k. I have been owning and driving is at least every second week for the last 25 years now. It is the first car I bought, I'll probably never sell it. Around 4 years ago, I also bought a Line 6 '54 Corvette. It is a different ball-game when compared to the power-steered, power-brake V8 with loads of comfort. I love the big Mopar for the design, the sheer size and the robust engine and sound. I get thumbs up all the time when driving it around the narrow streets of the village I live in.
