Got a plan for polishing those wheels?
I've been intending to repair my homemade wheel-spinning contraption, but my current idea likely won't handle the inertia of a wheel + the tire.
But if you are planning on new tires...

Tires only have 1000 miles but are quite old. Will probably replace them once its back together.

Well, when you're getting prepared for removing the tires, hit me up and we'll see if my polisher is usable?
But those might clean up nicely with just some Mothers alum wheel polish.

New Yorker should be finished this year. Should have approx $15k in its restoration. Probably the value of this c body given current market. Of course this doesnt incl. the value of my time and effort. That said, i will receive many yrs of enjoyment and hopefully my 2 sons will enjoy it as well.

This was my dads favorite car. Im sure he would have been happy to see it restored.

Very exciting to see your project coming along. Great work. Those wheels look really good on your car.

Getting ready to install the vinyl top. Placed on the chrysler to get the wrinkles out. Installer will do this in a couple of weeks.

Heres some pic of the tail lights. I have one tail light with a different chrome trim. Is this from a 71 New Yorker

It looks like the LH one in this picture, this car is a '70
Actually, I'd bet it is the one from this picture.

For the curious:
RW and I met via the Yahoo Cbody board (back in 2006 according to this pic), when I posted that parts would be available from this car.
He happened to be within driving distance, so we got to meet, and then he made multiple visits to pick stuff from this car, getting prepared for the restoration he's now doing.

The car was at the house of a buddy, who I've known ~25 years, and who I met because of a different car.
Non-car-folks don't understand how these cars bring folks together.

FInished the bumpers and tail lights. I did not re-chrome the bumpers. Never had good luck with chrome shops. The only parts they didnt screw up were the ones they lost. Let me know your thoughts on chrome shops.
