The heater core, evaporator core, condensor, and radiator are back from the shop. Now time to put the heater and evaporator cores back together.

assembled the heater/evaporator box. The bottom of the box was cracked where the heater core pipes extend creating a place for water to leak inside the new yorker (from condensed water off the evaporator core.) Hopefully I fixed it with rubberized sealant. See pics.

used new seals from detroit muscle.

Installing the antenna. See pics. Want to know if the entry point into the cabin is correct. See pic 3. Also, what is the correct type of gasket under the bezel. Pic 1. Dont beliieve there was a gasket there, but the book says there is one. Should be of the same material as the door handles.

Found the origional bracket for the heater/evaporaror box. So I installed it. Installed the vacuum line for the trunk opener. Cleaned up the fresh air vents. Will install once i get the new screws.

I have vent cables and steering column cover (used with these cables) from an earlier c body. Possibly a 69 or 70 chrysler. I dont need them (will not fit a 71.) I dont know how to advertise them on this forum. They will go to anyone who needs them for the cost of shipping.

Vent cables are held in place with this clip. (See pics) if clip(s) are missing then you could probably use aircraft safety wire. As I was planning to use if I didnt find these clips

Installed the fresh air vents. Took some time to install those clips. Next on to the interior wiring and some work in the engine bay.

Still working on wires and vac hoses. Took some time to figure out how to layout the wires for the power windows.

I was missing this hood latch. Found it on ebay

Working on the dash wires. My brother owned the chrysler for many yrs. Apparently the fan switch failed during this time. So he spliced the wires and installed a separate switch. (Noticed that replacing the switch requires removing the instrument cluster.) I will restore this to origional.

Installed the rear harness. Also working on the radio/multiplex/speaker wiring.

More pics of the harness.

Whats the groups opinion of upgrading the clock. I have a NOS clock which I could install. However i installed a more modern clock mainly due to longer expected life and accuracy.

The Chromometer in my 73 Imperial works great, I think it looses maybe a minute a month. I just had a look and after a month still correct.

Getting ready to install the dash. Installed new speakers, and wire harness is ready to go. Will remove the steering column first.
