Insurance companies are strange. They decided to fix my nine year old Neon after a rear end hit. Paid just over $4k to repair a car blue booked at $4,200 at the time. I told the bodyshop manager how surprised I was and he said the adjuster thought my car was “just too nice and clean” to total.
