We've lost Locumob - Scott.

This is what I've got

Very unfortunate.
I was talking to him just before this happened.
Great guy.
Not very often that I become "friends" with someone on a forum but he was one of those guys.
May the Lord rest his soul in heaven.

This sucks, he was such a good dude, always had a smile on his face and a great laugh. He loved all MoPars but really passionate about c-bodies. We had planned to hit up some salvage yards here in MN where there are lots of C-body cars….dammit didn’t get the chance. Couple pictures I took at the MoPars in the Park show here in MN, the one with the both of us was taken last June at the FABO meet-n-greet I put on every year. Really saddened by this and he will be missed by so many people!

That sucks. I didn’t know him, but I’m sure we will all run across each other eventually. It’s a wake up call to take care of yourself, reduce stress and enjoy life, you never know when it will be over.

Oh man , this is indeed devastating news.....
Scott missed Chryslers @ Carlisle this past 2024 because " I have got too much going on right now " he told me....
He LOVED being @ Carlisle for 2021 - 2023 , his three times there .... and Scott said that he was never so happy being there and being among us....

He came by my stand every year at 6 : 00 P.M. ish , so we could just hang , talk cars , talk MINNESOTA VIKINGS ( Scott and I are both Diehard MINNESOTA VIKINGS Fans --- he is from Winnebago, Minnesota , as many of you know ..... )

We would talk and P.M. each other all year long --- when some interesting Minnesota VIKINGS news happened ---
And I told him a couple years ago @ Chryslers @ Carlisle--- that " I am not greedy --- I need to win one before I die.... "
He then agreed --- he gave me that big , hearty smile that everyone who knows him remembers him by --- and chuckled --- " Yeah , really , just give me 1 " ....

As many of you are aware , Scott's and My VIKINGS are 14 - 2 , and tomorrow night is a HUGE day / night in our lives....
I last spoke to Scott 4 weeks ago, when we had won 5 in a row to become 10 - 2..... We were just enjoying life , commenting on how joyous this season has been so far.... I replied , " Yeah , let's not jinx ourselves , let's enjoy every week , and every game . I will certainly talk to you Super Bowl week , if all goes well.... "

I STILL WILL TALK TO SCOTT , UP IN HEAVEN , but now , thanks to this news , it will be through big Scott tears ....
And , I will talk to Scott later tonight , and give Scott a big hug.....

R.I.P. my friend and fellow PURPLE , Scott... SKOL VIKINGS !!! If you have any connections, bring us one THIS YEAR !!!
And , I will see you again , my friend , On the Road , Down the Road....

With sincere Bro Love , Craig......

Was talking to him Dec 1st planing to go to Mopars in the Park.
I asked which car to take and he said Grace, my 440 powered 67 Monaco 500.
Well if I get there, will do a memorial burnout for him!

Yikes.
I mostly seen him and his posts on the "trucks only" site and occasionally on FABO as I admit I honestly don't come on this one as much as I probably should

It was said somewhere in this thread that he worked swing shift. I know that routine all too well, have done it 2 different times over the years, one being 12 hr shifts and the other place was 8s, I remember having too many close calls driving home after being on nights... I usually made sure to stay on the back roads when I'd get off at 7am and not go main roads ... I didn't want to take out someone else because I was so tired. Especially when I had the job where I swung between 3 shifts more so than 2 shifts for some reason
That work schedule needs to be outlawed.
Done away with.
That work arrangement has to be detrimental to ones health even if you otherwise eat sleep exercise "perfectly" otherwise

I do not reply to these threads but I feel like I have too on this one. I've only met Scott a few times, the few times he was at Carlisle and again when he drove out to Idaho to purchase my wagon. What a man of good character and this thread says it all. He touched a lot of guys here with positive energy. I am deeply saddened by this.
When he came Idaho it was because of bad circumstances in my life. He did what he could to help while there including taking two young dogs back to Minnesota.
I presume someone has taken those dogs in . If anyone has information on the dogs please let me know. I can not let them go to a pound. They became his closest buddies and if needed I would take them back in to keep them together and safe.

This news hurts ....

I heard his coworkers jumped into action and someone has taken the doggos.

If I find out anything at all I will keep everyone in the loop.

This sucks.
