I have a 65 Fury fast top with the side molding removed. Because of the chrome window frames, I installed the deluxe roof
rail trim - it's not like the plain stuff at all. I got two sets for a song and a dance and both are as new - couldn't turn it down
for the price and looks. I used a pro counter sink on the trim holes, cleaned the back side with a small grinder, used real copper pennies as backing and soldered them from the front side with 95/5 solder filling the counter sinks to blend it out.
Challenge any one to find where they were. Body shop thought this was a great method and kept the car from torching
unlike welding.
