What am I supposed to do with this? Trimparts Z0100 Grommet

One is for the head lights and the other one is for the radio auto seek.

OK...Here,s a stupid question...why do you have 2 switches, I,m thinking the original seized up and they installed a second one instead of fixing properly.

The second one is the "search" button for the radio. Push it and the radio looks for the next station up the dial.

I've seen the grommet on the search switch and not on the dimmer too. I have no idea what years or even if it's OEM.

Of course, everyone conveniently forgets that it's a Delco (GM) radio....

Ive read they werent born with the grommet , It ads a finishing touch but not correct

Didn't these come out in the 70's? I know they're standard on Formals.

Can confirm. My carpet also has this grommet:

Surely it's not original '65, but if it weren't there, I would have created one.

factory did not use them until mid 70s

Hmm? Maybe not on a C-Body but my 1967 Barracuda clearly had one from the factory. I'm pretty sure my Other Polara has one, most likely original.
