I loaded up my girl in the vert and headed for the Lake Michigan shoreline. The weather could have been better but it was still very enjoyable and we got to enjoy the top down for a little while on Sunday. We stayed at a nice lakefront resort which made for a nice setting for some pics. The car did well for what was definitely the first time it left the Detroit area in at least 15 years. The trans is now leaking pretty good and it developed a nasty exhaust manifold leak but otherwise was flawless and fun.

Went on a near 2,400 mile turn and burn road trip to get a car with not much more than an hour of sleep accumulated in the passenger's seat.

Still felt like I had a hangover today.

Car show , breakfast with my wife and friends at said show and played cards in the afternoon.

Great car Matt...everything is different in a ragtop

Had to work the Holiday. I took my holiday with some vacation the previous week to go fishing with my dad at Kentucky/Barkley lake. The fishing was great dispite the wind and cool temps.

you can't post something like that and not at least tell us what you went that far for.

Got up.
Fed the cats.
Had coffee with my wife and watched the biased news and got mad at the world again.
Went online with the computer.
Trimmed some hedges.
Computer some more.
Futzed around in the shop.
Checked for mail forgetting it was Memorial Day.
Did a load of laundry.
A beer at five.
Jacuzzi at six.
Feed the cats again.
Dinner.
TV.
More computer
Go to bed.
What day is today?

After several weekends of sifting dirt, yesterday was finally the day to plant our succulent garden, law down weed fabric and 2,500 lbs of pea pebble. Real tired today!

This was fun..... There was a mock chase scene with the "General Lee" charger and a Hazzard county sheriff car..... They went around the park a couple of times..... Lights & siren...... It was cool.

Now that is kool! You should have gotten a video of that.

-Did the flag raising for our city's memorial day service
-Marched with the Scouts
-Took Grandma down to Grandpa's (Sgt USAAC WWII) grave. His stone is finally up and though she can't see it, we read it to her and she was able to feel it.
-Found the keys to the 59 Caddy

Overall good day

niagra falls with the fam, stayed on the canadian side, really enjoyed the cave of the winds. fri night we got there an a '74 caprice rag was tooling around town, saw it a few times over the weekend

Tried to find a car show in Tucson (there was none, strange right?), and replaced the valve cover gasket on my 440.

Spring Fling at Mississaga Ontario Chrysler Parts Warehouse with the Monaco 500. Took a friend and his son along. Great show with a few hundred cars and a healthy collection of Cbodies. Picked up a discrete little tach for under the dash pad at the swap meet. Got about half way there when I realized I'd left the camera at home Dooh!
