Looks great, but Betsy wants white walls!
For looks, I agree not 100 but 200%.

So, why the RWL tires on my Roadie? Because there is no whitewall tire nowadays (none -- I looked far and wide, and have tried different WW over tens of thousands of miles on many cars in the past 5 years) that holds a candle to the Michelin Defender LTZ (RWL) that I installed last August. The Michelins are superb, for ride comfort, noise level, AND roadholding.

For a car that I want to be able to use in all weather conditions, like Betsy, those considerations all get priority over looks. For a car that does not see the snow, like Lalie (the 1996 FWB that I recently sold to a friend -- see below), comfort and looks (with decent roadholding, but no need to handle in winter) can take priority:

Three previous threads
Name that car!
Car names
Does your MOPAR have a name, and if so, what and why?

My comments in the previous threads are not current so I'll update it here.

It wasn't till I had two 69 Polaras that I ended up with a named car. Prior to that I did have 2 Barracudas at the same time, one was a 67 the other 73 so it was always "the 67" or "the 73". I also had two 67 Valiants at the same time, a 4-door and a 2-door, that was just "the Valiant" and "the 2-door" as the 2-door wasn't a driver. With the Polara I didn't name it, at first it was "the Polara" but when I got the CHP car people would ask how the Polara was going, I'd assume one and it was the other, somewhere along it the none CHP car got the name "Monte" as it was purchased in Montana.

Both the civilian 4-door and the CHP car have been sold and now I have the 69 Polara 500 convertible. At first it was easy, "the 500", "the Convertible", "the Polara" as I only had my 67 Barracuda fastback. But I now have a 67 Barracuda convertible. So the Polara is either "the Polara" or "the 500", the Barracuda Fastback is either "the Barracuda" or "the Fastback", the Barracuda convertible is either "the Vert" or "the Convertible".

I have thought about naming the Barracuda Convertible "Blue Max" as it is a blue car and I got it from a friend named Max.

I have had dozens and dozens of different cars with different names.
Currently , I still have a few.
1) my New Yorker my kids named the "Pickle".
2) my red Charger "Ritsie" being an R/T S.E.
3) my Challenger "Shaker" hence the Super Shaker I made for it
4) my other Charger "TBD" because it is not finished yet.
5) my Belvedere "patches" because of all the different colors.
6) my trucks have always been "Ram-bunctious" since we were mudding as kids.
7) my Dually "Judy" with her big booty.
8) my 12' Challenger "ole blue".

I wonder if Diamondback would modify a specific tire per customer request, and vulcanize white walls onto it. They have predetermined tire models that they use for their different offerings, based on quality and availability, and other things.... whether it would be worth it, that's another topic.

Too bad that Michelin doesn't make WW tires anymore.

Haha, I'm not that creative. I don't really like to name my cars, some day I might have to part them out. :)

My current project is known as "The Chrysler":

my parts car goes by the name of "The Parts Car" or more recently since my son took it over, "TX9" (formally, "The Black Car"):

In high school I had "The Blue Car"

and "The Convertible"

and then "The Purple One".

My DD is "Ravioli" but the kids named that one:

Haha chose the car over the wife huh. I’m sorry she felt that way. My dad wouldn’t let me buy a thunderbird bc he deemed them gay. I still want a 66 flair bird

Haha, in this case, she said the car itself had an orientation. It wasn't deemed gay in the sense that other cars are gay, such as the Porsche Boxter, Miatas, Electric Mustangs, Honda CRV, Jeep Wranglers, and Yellow Ford Rangers (with flare sides).

I don’t name all my cars, but I did refer to my ‘76 Eldorado convertible (with 17,000 original miles) as “*****” as it looked great, but constantly cost me wallets full of money with all the repairs. You know… I’d say: that f’n ***** just cost me another boat load of cash. When I sold it I told my Dad I finally divorced the Caddy. He laughed and said at least there wouldn’t be alimony.
The 68 Chrysler I refer to as Wilbur as the previous owner was Wilbur and his name is all over the car. Inside the door panels for example he wrote his first and last name when he did some work. Like Wilbur M greased the window tracks 5/5/82. Wilbur M replaced front speaker 9/2/93. So I guess he named the car for me.

WOW! This turned into a really interesting thread! All the cool names and SO many very nice cars out there in the world! Im impressed!
