What is this? 1967 New Yorker

[Cop car wagon]

I am stripping down a dash frame, and I found this.
Looks like a power or stereo jack from the front.
One wire off the back. Definitely factory.
What is it?

It looks to me like part of a dash light like for a key switch.

I think it's the light bulb for the cruise control.

Well then, I should add it to the complete auto pilot system I have to sell.
I'll pull it and put power on it and see if it lights up
Maybe take it apart first as it screws together. Is it missing a lens?

I believe the lens is in the auto pilot control assembly, out side of dash.
