Found this sheet under the carpet of the 71 last year, interesting, but what the hell is it?

Here is the tag on the bottom of the carpet from the manufacturer, never saw that. Date coincides with the November build date of the car

My guess as well: check list for a domestic car to check if everything complies with federal mandates as stated later on the window sticker. Wasn't there a passus about federally mandated standard features, or was this in the catalogs ? Don't have anything at hand right here.

Would be interesting to see if and what's on such a list for a Canadian or export/military sales car.

I only found a 1970 Mo. hunting and fishing code in my car. :)

When a vehicle came down the line and a worker (line man, Q/A inspector, etc...) found or had a problem that couldn't be corrected, the car was was pulled off the line to be repaired. Before it could go back onto the line, it had to be "signed off" on that the vehicle again met the specifications. The document stayed with the car.
The line had to keep moving. That's why, for example, a seat would have only 3 out of four bolts installed.
Now, the norm on assembly lines is that any worker can stop the line if necessary to get the problem solved.

I found a wooden nickel good for a free car wash in Salt lake City. Never made it....
