What is your dream car?

Mine is probably the car sitting next to my other 99 cars if we are dreaming. And they don't have to be quality ill take quantity.
I was probably most passionate about a green A12 Bee 40 years ago..

A hemi roadrunner came into my sphere somewhat recently and it dawned on me that it was well within my capacity to buy it, far more so than 35 or so years ago when it was literally all I wanted out of life, and hemi cars were only 30k. I just don't see the satisfaction now.
I have reached the point where I would rather have some time with the cars I have rather than a princess in the garage.

But I wouldn't kick an actual Daytona Stock car out of bed....

40 years later, my dream car is still a '57 300C 2-door hardtop, would be awesome to own Randy Guyer's 300C with crank windows and a manual seat.

This old thread is fun to go thru. Pretty happy with what I got but if I won the lottery…

Gotta love the old 383 convertible Mannix bombed around in. I’m lucky enough to use daily most of his old car chase roads like Lake Hughes, soledad canyon and sanfrancisquito. I’ve noticed a huge lack of villains out chasing people nowadays…

Not a car...But, definitely been a dream all my life.
In a different life with a different wife I might have had one of these. My Dad's best friend drove many of them out of Louisville, KY where I grew up as a kid. Very, very nostalgic to me.

I despise the exotics look.
I just read through old posts and noticed this. I'm not bagging on anyone's kink, but I swear so many of the cars people get crazy for look like backyard kit cars to my eyes. One of them in the thread (probably worth a zillion dollars) had a scoop that looked like a piece of PVC pipe run through a band saw. I guess I just prefer the more "finished" look that only a million dollars worth of tooling can provide.

Fun looking through the old thread which I missed the first go around. This 1960 300F would fit the bill for me.

LoL Bob Blake told me that combo is called a creamsicle. I can’t argue with what he said way back when cause we were standing next to his creamsicle `71 hemicuda convertible.
That's one expensive ice cream bar, but if I ever have the money, I'm buying a Cuda Creamsicle Convertible. Sweet!

As far back as I can remember, I wanted a Daytona. They were always just out of reach, price wise. But now the prices are in the stratosphere.
This unrestored Hemi Daytona 4-speed checks all the boxes...

Another one that would be on the list would be the Stutz Blackhawk Elvis owned. He was the owner of the 1st prototype. Gaudy as it may be, I'd drive the wheels off this thing.

I have a copy of the 1986 MuscleCar Price Guide, put out by the editors of Car Review Magazine, it lists the Hemi Daytona at $20,000 for a condition A car (A being the best and E the worst).

A friend was working at a Pontiac dealership that sold the Stutz Blackhawks and was there when Elvis came in and bought one. He said he went around and shook everyone's hand and introduced himself. As Elvis owned a few of them, I'm not sure which one it was, but it was probably a later version.

Back in the late 70's just after I bought my first car, a 69 Road Runner, I signed up for a membership with the Winged Warriors car club which was a Daytona/Superbird club that included listings of cars for sale.
I'd anxiously waited for the next envelope to arrive in the mail to check the classified ads, hoping to score a winged car. I still have those envelopes with the classified ads and the articles of members cars from that club.
Those were the days

There are so many stories about how Elvis never forgot the people who made him a superstar. The generosity he showed will never be matched by anyone who reached his level of stardom in today's self-centered world of fame.

When I visited Graceland in 2022 the museum had two Blackhawks on display in the museum.
I believe one of them is the first prototype, which Elvis was able to acquire instead of Frank Sinatra.
The prototype Stutz was still wearing its custom-made tires.
