I have to admire you for your English skills regardless. It's better than most people in the USA. Even if they were born and "educated" (using the term loosely) here.

Spent a good couple of weeks in the US as a sort of student's exchange, which boosted interest. I returned with a nasty American accent that really pissed my English teacher off who was a Great Britain fan who wanted to direct us towards Oxford English. LOL

Have a dear friend who grew up in the coal mining areas of England. Can't understand a damn word of hers.
