What should this hammer for?

Oil spraying is still popular in Ontario.

To be fair, the car was in Toronto. No one in Toronto is going to buy that car. That is why I went. As soon as I saw no reserve on that car, if it was close to decent I would take it home. All in with taxes and buyers premium it was only $1554 USD.

Quite a few local C body fans looked at the car including myself. Just wasn't our cup of tea or we would've bid. Great to see it go to someone who will enjoy it.

4 door. Ugly outside. Some weak paint touch ups. Could use a new vinyl roof. but I wanted a 70's pillowed interior and this one was mint. I can drive it for a few years for fun.

Damn. I just can't cover everything. I have been going to that auction for years. I never even thought I would see a 'file photo' but I missed it. I did see another this year. I wonder what is changing with them. This is an RM auction near the HQ and they are known for putting up a lot of their own cars. I wonder if this is out of their inventory. Usually they have the car already or a photo from the owner.

Anyway, I hear 1500-3000/3500. I am going to go and I will be watching. I have bought a number of cars there. Maybe this one too

Quite a few file photos even when the vehichles were on the block. Rarely seen that in the past. RM has been out since 2009.

".... RM has been out since 2009."

I was wondering why there were calling it "Dan Spendicks production of..." but I see the same guys on the floor and the auction block there and spring Auburn which is pretty much RM. I thought I saw the same crew at Spring Carlisle one year but can't be sure. Pretty sure I have seen them on the same stage at other televised RM events and auctions I attend. I don't see Mecum or Barrett folks working multiple auctions sites. Just saying. Looks and feels like RM to me. I've even seen - or thought I saw - cars from the Toronto show at Auburn.
