lol......no ,there is no joy in a new car, you can drive an old car anytime, in almsot any cond and get compliments. And my last fun drive in a car was in my burg convertible before I sold it..........nothing like 45 ish mph cruising on a quiet back road with the top down.

Then you let it go... (I know a dead horse) but damn man... You are gonna have to make a few sacrifices. I think getting one to build, and make your own would be best. Even if you only have to do a few things. Most the fun is tracking down parts, and meeting people along the way.. imo

I hope the new blue one is a go. She is a looker. I still like that white one though. If you could get it for the right price, I think it would be worth it.

you really want me to buy this car, don't you Dave? Or is it that you're fed up with my searching and bitching?

well, you know, if I do buy it, I can always sell it after a few months anyway to someone in finland.

Yes Monaco75,I will have to sacrifice, but if I can have the console then it'll make life easy.

there's an idea! :fishin: Hell you might even make a few bucks lol

That experience is worse. I'd rather have rabid pit bulls ripping my cajones off while having red hot pokers stuck in my eyes.

Simple with the internet. The deal is done over the phone & it's ready & waiting for you when you get to the dealer. Autotrader.com is the ONLY way to buy a new car.

Well I don't see myself ever buying a new car ever again so it's a moot point.

This evidently is the experience of buying a new Ford... I suspected as much. :sad11:

Both are sharp cars and both doable with some elbow grease and maybe a welder, and I agree, finding parts is big fun. I prefer the Dodge out of the 2.

just got an email from the owner of the white car.......he got an offer today and took it, so it is sold.

somewhere between 12 and 15, i'd guess........i know it was below 15 but he didn't say and i didn't ask. It was sold to a MOPAR collector in MI.

Great! Another Mopar classic stays home!!!

It's almost like the Mopar is defecting to North Korea or the other side of the Iron Curtain. Wait a minute........the Cold War is over. :eek:ccasion14:
