My brake booster seems to have lost a lot of it's power. This is the booster. The vacuum to the speed control was sealed off as the carb has been replaced and the cable was disconnected.

Could anyone tell me the brand from the pictures. It will help me get a replacement or getting it repaired.
Many thanks

The original power brake booster unit for the 1972 - 1973 Imperial and C-bodies, except station wagons, was 3580073 and was made by Midland-Ross, part number C-4279-K.

The pictured unit is a Midland-Ross unit. This one is painted, but was typically shipped as cadmium or irridite plated. Unless removed, the retaining band bolt/nut will have a tag attached with the Midland-Ross and Chrysler part numbers:

NOTE: The A-bodies used a similar appearing unit, part number 3580083, but it is not the same.
