Where is the absolutely worst place you have driven?

worst design is the damn jug handle u turns or whatever they are called. i want to say that was back east somewhere where i encountered that. WTH?

I actually like those. You know what we call them in Oklahoma? Texas Turnarounds!

As for roundabouts, I like those, too. They ensure a smooth flow of traffic, as designed. The most fun I've had in a roundabout was in Palermo, Sicily. SIX lanes worth of traffic all going around in a big circle, with everyone zipping through to get out where they want to. Great fun in an Alfa Romeo rental car!

For me, the worst place to drive was Puerto Rico. Where they make the shoulders of the road into another driving lane. Right or left, didn't matter, they show no mercy LOL

I second Puerto Rico (I'm sure other places are worse but that's the worst I've seen). Sidewalks are used as main thoroughfares. I haven't been there in years but last time I was, there was a horse roped out on the side of a main highway grazing on the grass. Every day I'd pass that horse. Well, one day, it was dead, been hit by a car. And other dead animals littered the roads, bloating up in the hot sun.

Jamaica. In the spring, in Ocho Rios, during rush hour.

I'll agree with that. I didn't drive but got to be a passenger never wanted to get out of a place more than that. Of course I was there to get married, sooo that may have had something to do with it..

I had always heard London was bad and always stayed away from diving there but did finally to go visit my sister in law and it wasn't that bad. But we borrowed a GPS and that sold us. Drove right to her house so we bought one soon after
