Ok I know many of us say we drive our cars daily but I want to know who uses their C-Body as their primary driver rain (or snow) or shine?

My other Polara is my true daily driver, the only time I don't use it is when I need the truck or I take the Barracuda out to blow the dust off.

I use my 70 Imp as a summer daily driver.
I usually have a autumn/winter/spring driver, too but don't drive it in snow/salt on the road

here in France you can't use such a car as a daily driver.
Gasoline is too expensive, all roads are not large enough ( only in small villages ) and in big towns, parking are too small, there is not parking places in the streets and too many people who do not care and bump in other cars when parking.

Sounds like living Hell for a car guy!

Most of Europe is like that. Germany has the best roads and autobahns but they have tiny roads in some areas too. Gas is sold by the liter in Europe. I couldn't afford to drive during the 15 years I lived there without my Army ration card. We paid a little more than what gas sold for in the States. We had to use Esso or BP gas stations with our Army ration card.

I usually drive my car as much as possible simply because I absolutely love driving Chryslers, and esp. big Chryslers. I guess its a subjective thing. The only thing that stops me is snowy/salty roads. Then it will sit in the garage until that's over.

Same with me......I drive year round as long as there isn't salt on the road.

Bob sooner or later we are going to pass each other by on some highway or road. Its inevitable. I'll know its you cause I hardly ever see any formals cruising along the highways. I did see a superbird back in may though, lol.

My 65 Coronet is my daily driver most of the year. You see a lot of 60's drivers in this part of the world. Very few really nasty days. Up till last January snow is a novelty around here.

Jazebelle comes out most weekends for local events or a ride to the beach.

I'd drive mine every day if it wasn't for the heat and the stop and go traffic. I hate looking at the temperature gauge and trying to will it down.

That is nerve racking I bet, but it shouldn't be that way...you have fan shroud?

Yes but AC really gets the under hood temp up. Also I think I'm losing some of the shroud's effectiveness because it's not an exact fit on the aluminum after market rad I have on the car. There's gaps of about half an inch on the sides where air flow is probably escaping.

Who's the manufacturer of the rad? I also have aluminum rad with a stock fan shroud bolted to it, they match up perfectly. Half inch pretty large gap.

I don't have a better picture right now. I F'd up in buying this radiator. Was a few years back. Didn't have FCBO as a resource.

I usually drive the Polara every day, but this year it wasn't on the road much due to rebuilding the front end, and now my tires suck and no $$ for new ones til spring.

I got an aluminum radiator from Jeg's that is too small top to bottom (I guessed the size when ordering). I have a 1 inch gap on the top and bottom, no shroud and the engine stays at normal operating temperature. I have an electric fan for slow speed situations that helps.

Honestly, I have a company car for my own use that gets the nod for the trip to Walmart. I'd love to drive mine more, but I'll show you a picture I just took tonight....

Yep, a real 300SL Gullwing Mercedes parked in the lot behind the fish place we went for dinner... with a Mom van parked door ding close.

Nobody respects a big $$$ car like that... They aren't going to do much better for my old Chrysler.

And since we're talking about salt... Here's what cars look like around here in the winter.... That white stuff on Vlad the Impala is road salt.
