I know wheel/tire size has been discussed many many times but I’m having a hard time finding what tire size will fit with less than ideal backspacing, I’ve found a set of rims I would like to buy (American racing outlaw 1) 15x8 but they only have a 3.75” backspacing rather than the 4.5 everyone suggests. (I called they can’t make them with custom backspacing) I’d like to run a 275/60R15 and can find anything that says if it will or will not fit. I’m attempting to fit as much meat as possible in the wheel wells to help with off the line traction. Street driving mostly but a heavy right foot

Find different wheels. A LOT of wheel companies are sellers of products made in China, owned by basically TWO wheel groups. Which is why no custom backspacing. With that little backspacing for that rim width, the tires will be too far outward to start with. Which will certainly affect the rear tires more than the front ones, I suspect.

Just some thoughts,

That’s how I figured that would go. I just couldn’t see that working at all. I was hopeful
