I guess my question is, I have a 1972 new yorker and want to install a 1970 grille and hidden headlamp assembly off of a 1970 300. The fender and hood line looks the same to me but I can only see pictures, the real car is in a container. Anyone have knowledge??

No, redesigned bumper with split grille in 72.

So use a 70 or 71...
Oh hell,, why not even do a fusey Imperial wagon....
Imperials have hide-a-way head lights as welll.....
I am basically on the look out for a 69-71 wagon, but the '69 is my first choice. Nice idea on the Imperial, but I have nearly bought everything from the 69 300 front end. You could definately say I've got the cart before the horse. :)

I wouldn't have been able to convert your 69 wagon Tobias. That wagon is beautiful. Has the member confessed to the purchase yet?

Yes he is picking the car up end of May
2018 I’m a little sad to see the Wagon leaving me

I can understand you feeling that way, it's a great looking T&C...not to mention an outstanding looking shop, wow!

I'd investigate this a little more if that's what you want, it doesn't appear to be too much of a stretch.
There's a few cars I'd be interested in seeing a mix and match of. One would be a 1969 Imperial coupe with 1972 tails...another would be a 1969 Dodge Charger with 1968 tails. I know many people would be repulsed by this, but that's just my taste. I'll more than likely never own those cars anyhow.

I like the Newport grill for 72 more than New Yorker. The vertical grill is way more muscle looking and should fit. Bumpers look identical.
