Windshield Washer hose strap

While installing my shiny new washer bottle in my '70 300, I had to run a new hose as mine was dried up and disconnected.

The tee for the washer hose is there on the underside of the hood, but the strap that supports the hose, so (I assume) the hose doesn't tug too hard on the tee and break it.

Anyone have a good pic of the strap?? The parts book shows it, but also says "not serviced". I'll bet I can 3D print one but I'd like to see an original.

A pic of hose routing up to the hood would be great too.

I could never find a source showing the "proper" routing, I think it might go behind the starter relay but not sure why I didn't, there is also that notch in the cowl panel a few inches over that may have been put there for it as well, again don't recall if I explored either of those, I'd say keep it short not long.

The other 69 Polara I had, fairly original (80,000 original mile), Factory plug wires, belts and lower radiator hose.

I looked at a few online and a lot looked like they could easily catch in the hinge. This looks much better.

OK, I thought I had one of those wire harness straps kicking around, but I couldn't find it. I decided to fish a zip-tie through the holes just to get it done. You can't really see it, so it may stay.

I also looked at the notch behind the starter relay and decided it was a perfect place to run the line.

Hey Big_John Bill Rolick has that clip listed in group 8 page 4 of his catalog part # 2356 if I remember correctly five bucks, it's not listed for C body but it's the same.

Howdy I just looked at my former car 70 300. This one ran the hose along the inner fender than to the hood with a plastic guide on the drivers side, then three metal guides over to the passenger side. Here are some pics.

That's funny black plastic on inner fender white on hood. I can't access my 70 Newport Vert to check as it is serving as a work bench for my Charger.

You could have at least used a clear colored zip tie to look closer to the "oem" part.... haha.
