Need a variable speed wiper switch for a 65 Plymouth fury. The only one I can find is no’s around $275 dollars. I might have to wire a toggle switch before I pay that price.

Is that one with a short shaft? Meaning maybe 1" long or so.

I am not sure about the length the switch is still in the car. I have a picture of the one I think I need but I can’t find a used one.

Have you tried taking it to an old timer auto electric shop...if there are any still around. I had a couple switches and relays re-done by an old timer who ran an auto electric shop years ago, he worked on stuff like that in his spare time so you couldn't be in a rush, charged me pennies compared to NOS.

I've got one. I can't guarantee it'll work, it was sold to me as a working part but that was close to 30 years ago before I found out the Polara uses a different unit with a longer shaft. I can grab a photo later if you like, didn't have my camera with me.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you polara-500 if you get a chance to take a photo that would be great. I will take mine out and compare it. Thanks. I have so much money now in this stupid wiper setup I am ready to tie a string to the arms and call it good.lol

Okay, the short one is the one I believe correct for Plymouth. The tall one is reference only and one I know is correct for a 65 Polara variable speed unit. The p/n on the switch is 2770380 which I can find listed as both 66 Plymouth/Chrysler and the likely reason they're so danged expensive is it also fits a 70-71 E body.......... The part box is for my Polara unit.

I haven’t removed it yet but I think it is the short one if I remember right. I will look at it and get back with you. Let me know what you want for it ?
