First time out with the car. We went to a cruise night at lake front beach and had dinner at a restaurant there. Had the top down the whole time!

Saw this unrestored '56 300.

We're headed off on vacation today, so I won't get a chance to drive it again for a week.

We have seen more pics of the unrestored '56 then we have of your 300 now, haven't we?

Wow, look at that. Amazing.

It really is!

License plates are off my A12 car. I gotta get something more fitting the 300.

There's a paint scuff on the side. It looks like clouds. The previous owner (a good friend of mine) was 1st Cavalry in Vietnam, so he added a vinyl helicopter. It looks cool, but has no significance for me, so it will get removed and the panel will get touched up.

I'm not usually a big fan of that color combo but man it looks great on that car! Really nice!

I think we could let this pass through as a "burned beyond recognition orange".

What's going on there with the side molding?

Two owners ago at least on that one. It's that vinyl side molding so popular with used car dealers. I don't like it. It will come off soon.

I'm not real crazy about the spotlights either, but they add "character" to the car, so the jury is out on that one.

Your going on vacation...... and NOT driving this car......? I'd have to stay home.....

Yea... the thought occurred to me to take the 300... I'm gonna take my company car (Vlad the Impala) instead. It's easier to drive and park a regular car in a strange town. One less worry.

Previous owner replaced the rad. It was cheaper to get the aluminum version.
Ah I see then. Irregardless of the cost factor I kinda like the way it looks. I guess you'll be replacing it with a stock/factory version sometime down the road...lol.

Hard to say. This car is a driver!

The tank might get painted black though.
