If I took a pic of every Mopar that passed in front of me tonite they would number in the hundreds and I would be conservative to say that there were 10,000 classics and exotics on the ave this evening.
Definitely a large increase in the number of big cars out there over the last several years. I can be a little lazy with the camera, you have no idea and likely wouldn't believe some of the iron that rolls past you on this ave. and it goes on for miles in both directions.
I too am impressed with the number of C bodies! Maybe the word is getting out there about how great these cars are. I hope the badly needed revenue from this event helps the great city of Detroit.
I made it out to the dream cruise once... 10 years ago! Its hard to believe its been that long, but it was such a blast. If you've never been, its definitely an experience for a lifetime and highly recommended. Great photos!
Today was officially the Woodward Dream Cruise and the weather was perfect, the whole week has been perfect in fact! There were many big Mopars and I certainly didn't get them all. Here are a few.
Think about the cruise In terms of number of Mopars and its safe to say that there are as many on Woodward as there are at the Nats or Carlisle. On top of that there are thousands of Fords and thousands of General Motors products. Then there are the exotics, imports and dozens of home made contraptions, its mind boggling year after year.
I think there were more E-body convertibles on Woodward this week then I ever remember seeing in the past, Linda Vaughn was MC at the Berkly parade again on Friday night. Think of him what you will but Steve Meniante rolled buy in the back of a Dodge pick-up, Jeff Gordon and the list goes on.
