Working on my new man cave

Sweet shop. I like all the white. I have a friend that just put the same metal barn siding on the inside on the walls and ceiling amazingly bright with the right lighting. You have a great place.

We did the white steel on the ceiling in our 30x48 garage at the house years ago. Not only does it brighten up the space well, it's so easy to clean. Air hose and done!

Here are some shots from todays progress:

Got the air compressor bolted to the floor. Local hardware store didn't have the wire I needed so I will have to wait. Still have to wire in an outlet for the wirefeed.

A shot of the workbench I built out of reused kitchen cabinets.

A shot of some shelves we built, the engine stand and engine hoist. I use the hydraulic blue hoist for delicate work. The big white one with four wheels makes engine removal a breeze.....buts its hard on paint....

And yesterday while we were working, the NAPA truck backed up to the door. I was like WTF? Wife says she bought me a gift. And man did she ever! Best gift she has ever given me and I love it! 72" Montezuma toolbox. Holds all my stuff and still has empty drawers. It was a ***** to unload......weighs 1030 pounds empty.

I'd have to build another garage for the box at my place.

That's amazing, you must have been speechless!

Looks like a great place to hang out and work on projects..... But...... Is it really a MAN cave if the wife helps decorate.....? :thinker:

AWHhhhhhhh........ OK........ I get it now.....!
Your a lucky guy.....

Bet they have different left and right hand lugs and bolts.

The wife found some of these used on Facebook last night. I went and bought 4 individual pieces. They are steel with glass fronts that slide up and into the cabinet. They are about 30" long, 17" high, 13" deep. The guy got them at a federal auction. He had a shitload if them and wanted only 20 bucks each. They have nice rollers for the glass slides. I put one on top of the toolbox to keep the dust off of the repair manuals, and put two up on a shelf to display mantiques. One has an old Hamms beer mini keg in the original box and the styrofoam cooler for it. There is also an old metal flake Arctic Cat snowmobile helmet.
