would you buy American made?

Well they had some tasteful alternative to the Converse Chucks.
And ever tasted their Cola back in the day ? :)

Yes, when I was in East Berlin during the Cold War Days. Everything on that side of "Checkpoint Charlie" tasted like sh*t except the Russian Vodka and Cuban cigars. I have DDR china with gold leaf, flower vases, real silverware, binoculars, and other crap from the DDR. I still have a bunch of the DDR currency and coins too. Monoply money was worth more. LOL!

Yes I always look, and if there are no options made in USA, I try an find an option that's made somewhere other than China. Also in the supermarket, I never buy seafood or other products from any funky place where who knows what went on with it!

You brought up an excellent point. I'm sure glad that they have to tell you what country of origin seafood came from. I ONLY buy seafood originating from the U.S.

I just want the cars from the sixties.... and some of the music. The rest can stay back in history. Oh, one more thing....would have like to seen the first apollo mission, ok that's it.

Exactly where I am at , the last group of people I want to help is the Chinese

I try to buy North American Made products, especially when it comes to Car parts, I've had to many self destructing Asian Cars parts in the past, all the North American made brands I use have yet to fail me and when they do it is after many years & miles of extended abuse.

Dry sarcasm. It would help to be able to see his face when he was posting.

Again, your humor eludes me many times..... So, yes I did

I've been in the DDR (Communist East Germany before the Iron Curtain came down) ...........so I understand the sarcastic humor in this case. The East would try to copycat popular products from the West.........usually with terrible results. When cm23 referred to the Coke over there I just busted up laughing.......it tastes like sh*t and you'll be on the toilet for a day or too.

I liked the East german "club Cola". Even though it had nothing to do with coke of any kind
